Roma Baran
Roma Baran, producer, engineer, musician, attorney, grew up in Montreal and in her early years played with Penny Lang, Kate & Anna McGarrigle and Bill Garrett. She has produced many albums, in the US, Canada and Europe. For 13 years, she produced most of Laurie Anderson’s recorded work, from O Superman which shot to the top of the British pop charts, to Grammy-nominated Strange Angels. In Canada, she produced a Scott Merritt album for Duke Street Records, and has produced for Kate and Anna McGarrigle. Vivian Stoll
Vivian Stoll is a drummer, vibraphonist and audio engineer. Performances include work with seminal women’s rock band Isis, Kay Gardner, Margie Adams, Malvina Reynolds, Rosalie Sorrels. Composition/sound design credits include work with performers Split Britches Company, Peggy Shaw, Holly Hughes, and Jon Kinzel. She teaches sound design for film at the School of Visual Arts in NYC and engineers and produces independent music projects.

Rachelle Garniez
Singer-songwriter- accordionist-performer Rachelle Garniez ’s explorations have taken her from playing on the subway platforms and in the clubs of New York to jamming with gypsies in Spain and performing at Carnival in Venice. Her compositions reflect influences ranging from the Blues, Continental and Klezmer to Latin Jazz and Country/Western. Her music can be heard in film soundtracks such as The Opportunists, starring Christopher Walken and Cyndi Lauper, Chain of Desire, starring Malcolm McDowell, Betty Anderson, on the Chris Isaak Show on Showtime, and on her three CDs.

Dave Clarke
Guitarist Dave Clarke is well known for his role in Montreal-based country-folk trio Steel Rail, while his work with Juno-winning singer-songwriter David Francey has fed a growing reputation as a guitarist, producer and arranger. Recently relocated to Victoria, BC, Dave continues to work with Steel Rail, as well as with Penny Lang, another recent west coast arrival. Dave is increasingly seen in solo performance and now maintains a busy teaching and workshop schedule as well.

Jason Lang
Penny’s talented son, guitarist Jason Lang, is a frequent member of her entourage. He will be accompanying her during most of her first tour to support her new album Stone+Sand+Sea+Sky.
